Rage is a strategic combat game based on the roleplaying game, Werewolf: the Apocalypse. In Rage, 13 tribes of werewolves battle each other and the forces of the Wyrm (an entropic force of destruction and decay) to save the world from annihilation.

Rage went through two different editions with incompatible rules. Rage: Apocalypse was the first version produced by White Wolf Game Studios and is the one available on the gatlingEngine. Rage: Tribal War was produced by Five Rings Publishing Group and is not available on the gatlingEngine.

Expansions

Rage: Apocalypse had 5 original sets:

  • Limited/Unlimited
  • Umbra
  • The Wyrm
  • War of the Amazon
  • Legacy of the Tribes

Fan Made Expansions

Rage: Apocalypse also has additional fan made sets that are approved by White Wolf for tournament play and are available on the gatlingEngine and as a PDF download.

The first fan sets produced were "The New England Block" (the associated storyline took place in the territory controlled by King Albrecht, who rules New York and New England). The four sets of the new England block are:

  • Intermezzo
  • Periphery
  • Gauntlet
  • Coda

The second block is called Ahadi, and deals with Africa and its various shapeshifters. Ahadi currently consists of:

  • Warcouncil (released)
  • Rainmakers (in playtesting)

One set is always being tested on the gatlingEngine. Check the CCG Workshop forums for additional info on upcoming sets and how to become a playtester. Along with playtesting new sets, rules tweaks and clarifications being considered are also tested by the playtesters.
